Registration for TILE Potluck

Theme: "Pulling it all Together"

The Inclusive Learning Exchange (TILE) Project, funded by Canarie Inc., will be holding their fourth community event, or “potluck” at the University of Toronto on March 29, 2004. The goal of the TILE learning object repository project is to develop the authoring tools, system architecture, and preference schema needed to support inclusive transformations of curriculum across multiple contexts in order to meet varied learner needs. For more information on TILE, see: /tile/The TILE project holds community “potlucks” once every quarter at different locations across Canada. The purpose of these events is to provide an opportunity for collaboration and exchange of information related to learning object repositories, transformable content and their impact on e-learning. TILE partners and others from the larger community who have an interest in e-learning are welcome to attend. Our theme for this potluck will be “pulling it all together” with a focus on the instructor and learner experience in working with online content using the TILE authoring system and learning environment. Prepare to feast! The program for the day will include activities and discussions focusing on the following:

  • Outcomes of the TILE project
  • Functionality of the authoring interface
  • Functionality of the learner interface
  • Test driving the tools
